Calling all members – BCSDC Annual General Meeting

Where: Confederation Centre in Burnaby (4585 Albert Street)

When: Saturday February 3rd, doors open at 5:30 pm for the AGM, 7:30 for the dance.

No Classes this Month.

Members come for free food and the AGM and get into the dance for free.

  • Social Dance: $12 member, $15 guest, $7 student

We accept cash or card payments at the door.

Beginner Crash Course a Success!

Thanks to all who made the BCSDC Crash Course a huge success. Amy Shibasaki and her assistant Alia taught 250 people. We maxed out the room! Also many thanks to all the unsung experienced dancers who helped out with directing the rotation and providing lead and follow guidance.

Using Whips for Musicality

Intermediate WCS class from 7-8 will be taught by Ian Kirkconnell. The theme for the class is “Using Whips for Musicality”

FREE Beginner WCS Crash Course!

Come out and learn to West Coast Swing for FREE. This 4.5 hours crash course will get you started on your WCS journey. The program will be followed that evening with a WCS dance social that all are welcome to join for $15.

When: Saturday January 20th, doors open at 1:45 pm. No pre-registration required, just come and learn. Please be considerate and arrive on time.

Free beginner WCS Crash Course is from 2-6:30 and will be taught by Michael and Amy Shibasaki.

Please bring non-street shoes (preferably with slippery treads) for dancing in. A non-glass water bottle is also a good idea. Masks and vaccines are recommended.
